Semi-custom production simply means customising all that is visible on the yacht while using high-quality standardised solutions for the elements that are not.
Key details that can be customised to a client’s specifications are appendages, deck configuration, interior styling and materials, finishings, equipment and interior layout. SWS keeps some design elements as standard, such as the naval architecture of each project, which is the same for each boat belonging to the series.
Additionally, lamination on the hull, deck and transom are created using identical female moulds. Female moulds and additional mouldings are produced in-house using equipment that other shipyards generally outsource or buy off the shelf.
The yacht’s system design and assembly process benefits from the experience SWS has gained through its history of manufacturing mini series performance cruisers in the range of 21-33m, a process that guarantees the development of ever increasing reliability and continuous innovation.
