Heritage
Southern Wind is a boutique sailing yacht shipyard, founded in Cape Town in 1991. With European shareholders, all sailors and yachtsmen, an international management and the shipyard in South Africa, it’s a crossroad of different cultures. Open minds and flexibility are the basis of this company’s growth and staying true to its corporate values is its driver.
Our heritage is in each of the yachts we deliver, in the eyes of all our happy owners, and in the pride of our passionate team. This means that our heritage grows with us, allowing us to adapt to new ideas and continue generating unique and sustainable solutions for our clients.
