ST VINCENT AND THE GRENADINES

ST VINCENT AND THE GRENADINES

Chartering a sailing yacht in the Grenadines is to experience the Caribbean as it was many years ago. With lush and abundant vegetation, soaring volcanic peaks, breathtaking vistas and outstanding snorkeling, the Grenadines are truly spectacular. The great diversity of land and underwater scenery found among the 32 islands and cays means that every day of your sailing vacation will provide new opportunities for discovery and relaxation.

Not to be missed

St Vincent, the largest island of the archipelago, has spectacular mountain scenery, with dramatic gorges and precipices, and thick, lush rain forest. The Northern end of the island is dominated by Soufriere, a 3.000 foot active volcano which last erupted on April 1979.
Lying just a few miles south of St. Vincent is Bequia renowned for Port Elizabeth: a charming, sleepy port of call with a pedestrian footpath that stretches around most of the bay.
Mustique, a 1,400-acre private island is known as a favorite hideaway for the world’s most discerning travelers. Worth to be mentioned is Canouan Union Island: with its colorful market and mountain peaks is the ideal place for provisioning your yacht. It’s also home of the Caribbean’s most exciting and challenging golf course named in the Top 10 of ‘Best Golf Courses’ in the world.
