SW95 MAYA RAY
Launched in 2000, Maya Ray is the first unit in the Southern Wind Shipyard’s SW95 min series. The yacht perfectly expresses the Bluewater soul of SWS yachts having sailed two around the world tours.
Thanks to her deck-house configuration, Maya Rey features a protected guest central cockpit with an adjacent sunbathing area which allows plenty of room for socializing and relaxing on deck. The maneuvering cockpit aft offer full privacy and safety for all on board.
This 95’ footer yacht is a cutter rigged sloop with roller furling on the genoa and staysail, and a conventional Park Avenue boom controlling the fully battened mainsail.
The entire interior of Maya Ray is in foam cored blond teak paneling, grain matched to perfection. Cabin soles are teak and holly, and deckhead liners are white ultra-suede.
The split-level saloon under the deckhouse is a bright area with lots of big windows, sofas and low tables. The upper area is just three steps below deck level and includes an ample nav station. The full beam saloon below features a large settee around a beautifully simple dining table to port and two smaller settees to starboard. A lobby off the saloon leads to a small but useful en suite single cabin. Maya Rey ’s interior layout sleeps up to 8 guests in 4 cabins. An ample and luxurious owner’s cabin aft features a centrally placed double bed and a charming writing desk. The crew area forward accommodates up to 5 crew to ensure a relaxed luxury yachting experience.
Mya Ray has served her first and only owner and his family well over the past years in all oceans of the world; having had one crew since his birth, she has been meticulously looked after with regular yard periods and refits standing out for the immaculate conditions of both her deck and interior.
